Expectations Exceeded!I was completely surprised by the quality of this inexpensive stuffed wolf. I'm an adult who has several stuffed animals by other manufacturers, but none of them compare to the softness and flexibility of this wolf. The attention to detail is amazing with the different colors and textures of the fur. I really like how the rear end is weighted down a little so that the wolf can easily be posed sitting upright without falling over. The little nose is made of hard plastic and does get cold if exposed to frigid air. I know this because I took my new wolf outside to brush off any loose fur, but there wasn't much at all. Did I mention the softness of this wolf? It's worth repeating because this is truly a stuffed animal that you will enjoy cuddling with, whatever your age. Usually some stuffed animals I've ordered have arrived with ears that are smashed down and sometimes they never look quite right. That was not the case with this wolf. Everything was perfect. Kudos to Wild Republic! 5Much smaller than expected but good qualityHe is very cute but much smaller than expected (cup for scale). His fur is made of nice materials and is very soft. Here is a picture of him after accompanying my daughter almost everywhere for 14 months (in this picture, he is in the gym). He is floppy and soft and we couldn't love him more. 5Cute toy but arrived with holeI purchased the 12" and 8" wolves for my children for Easter because they are obsessed with wolves. While they were instantly smitten with how cute and soft these animals were they each promptly found a hole in the fur. The 12" had a hole approximately 3/4" long between its jaw and front left leg, while the 8" had a hole near the back of a front leg.I decided to keep both since they had been given as presents and the children already wanted to play with them, but there is no way I should have to be sewing two brand new toys. Five stars for cuteness and softness 2 stars for quality. I included a picture of the 8" wolf, but forgot to snap one of the 12" before I sewed it up. 3Fantastic and durable stuffed animalI have found this toy to be a fantastic and durable stuffed animal. He has become the favorite of my two girls and has gone on many an adventure in the backyard. I have machine washed the toy with cold water and air dried and it is still in fantastic condition. The wolf is perfectly plush and friendly looking. His bold coloring and soft fur make him a favorite for cuddles and one of the first toys that my daughters grab for. The only problem that I have come across is that each child is so infatuated with this wolf, that they both want him for their exclusive use and possession. I would recommend this product for any person who wishes to collect wolf memorabilia or as a gift to a child. 5Quality CheckI was excited to add this beautiful wolf to my collection- and still am.When I pulled this wolf out of the box, I immediately noticed the snapped string on the paw that forms the toes. I didn't see it as a big deal, and decided to fix it the next day.Good thing I had my sewing supplies handy because I then discovered the busted seam behind this wolfs ear, almost two inches long.I have to say, I'm so disappointed that this defected wolf passed quality check.Other than the busted seam and paw string, this wolf is beautiful and I'm happy to have him in my collection, Wild Republic is an affordable and very fetching plush brand. 2Nephew loved itI got this for my 8 year old nephew, who has autism. I didn't know if he would like it, but he sure seemed to. He hugged it and rubbed his face on the soft fur! It really is soft and the perfect size. It's not stiff or floppy, somewhere in-between. Great selection by itself or as an accessory to the 30-Inch Cuddlekins Wolf.In the lying down position, it measures 12" from tip of the nose to the end of the backside; 16" to the tip of the extended tail. In this position, the wolf is looking down. I use this wolf in the sitting up position so it looks forward. In this position the wolf is about 14-3/4" from the nose tip to the extended tail tip and about 11" high to the tip of the ears.Good price from Amazon. 5
