This ultra-light portal transmission is engineered for 1/10 scale RC crawlers requiring low center of gravity and . The housing is made from laser-cut carbon fiber, reducing weight to just 29.3 grams while maintaining structural rigidity. It uses hardened chromoly gears and a grade 5 titanium 5mm output shaft for reliable power transfer. Designed with motor bolt holes spaced 25mm apart and M3 threaded skid plate mounting holes at 27.5mm centers, it aligns with common chassis configurations. The unit includes a 36T 48-pitch spur gear with a 3:1 internal ratio, supporting pinions from 11T to 18T to achieve final drive ratios between 6.0 and 9.8. Supplied with an aluminum slidable shim and full hardware set for straightforward installation on compatible portal axle systems.
